Dimension 1.1 adds support for colour application - so save your colours to libraries and use them as the base colour of your model, background of your scene, or the colour of your lights. There is also a toggle that allows you to only select objects that are completely enclosed by your selection or just touching.ĬC Libraries and support for colour applicationĬC Libraries is a great way to share assets across your devices or teams to ensure consistency. Need I say more? Drag on canvas to easily target groups or discrete objects. Easily move your object to the ground so that the lowest point is touching or as you drag your object around snap bottom, middle, or top point of the object (or group of objects) to the ground. Now you can have the confidence that your 3D object is touching the ground of your scene. _Edit In _enables you to easily add common image formats, seamlessly edit them in Photoshop, and save changes back in Dimension.Įdit In workflow introduced in Dimension CC 1.1 Usability enhancements This workflow is one of the first steps we are taking in leveraging the power of Photoshop (and eventually other Adobe products) while working within Dimension for top quality photo realism. Dimension fits into your existing toolset, an advantage of working within the Adobe CC ecosystem. Version 1.1 introduces an Edit In workflow for images to Photoshop (don’t worry, Illustrator is coming soon). We are starting out by enabling a streamlined workflow for designers to create pre-visualisations of branding or product mockups. We’re excited to share with you some really cool updated features and improvements since our debut release of Adobe Dimension 1.0 in October last year.Īdobe Dimension is a new tool for graphic designers to create photo realistic renderings using both 2D and 3D assets. (Helix knitting is a bit more complicated than a single-color cap, I would recommend using helix knitting in your cap to only more confident knitters.)
For the hat with the single-row stripes, I used the technique of helix knitting. The yarn I used in the worsted-weight hat is Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Tweed in Papaya Heather and Oyster Heather. The yarn I used Knit Picks Capra in Magnolia and Blush. You can also add this pattern to your Ravelry queue here.
